First Grade Important Reminders:
If you were unable to attend Back to School Night, the slides from the presentation can be downloaded here...
Each day we have snack. Please provide a drink and a small snack from home each day. Please pack this snack separately from their lunch.
Any change in dismissal requires a written note on the day of the change.
When sending in envelopes or money, please be sure they are clearly marked with your child’s name.
Please check your child’s homework folder daily. Old notes and homework should be cleaned out.
Birthday Celebrations-Please note that we cannot celebrate birthdays with food. If your child chooses to celebrate his/her birthday in school, he/she may bring in a non-edible treat for every student in the class. In previous years, students have brought in pencils, erasers, bookmarks, or stickers. One of our favorite birthday treats is a book! I will read the book aloud to the class that day. The book will then stay in our classroom for students to look at/read on their own.
Mystery Readers- Please return the sheet with your availability if you are interested in being a mystery reader. I will send you a notice with your schedule time and date. Please fill in the clues that I will read to the class so they can guess who our reader is!
Our Class Activation Code- LJ4BV
