Science Test: Solids and Liquids will be 1/20. A study guide with scientific vocabulary (translucent, transparent, has color, bubbly, foamy, and viscous) was sent home for students to review. The test is based on the hands-on experiences students completed during experiments.
Unit 4 Math Test will be 1/23. The Mid-Year Assessment will be taken the week of 1/23 which is used to track student progress. There is no study guide for the Mid-Year Assessment.
We are starting Rocket Math this week! Students who did not pass will receive a blank page to practice that night. Rocket Math will be done every day before students pack up. Our schedule is already so busy, to participate in Rocket Math for the day, students need to be prepared with a pencil and paper to complete at the time of the test.
As a reminder, Rocket Math is a program we use to support students when learning math facts. It is not mandatory according to the math program and the grades do not count on the report card.

Passwords and login information is stapled in your child's homework pad (agenda).
You have access to the lessons that we learn, as well as games to practice skills that will be on the first assessment. Instead of having a review day, everyday we have been reviewing using the Math Boxes.
